People who drive with their fog lights on in clear weather

I know it’s been done before but I am so p1ssed off with people blinding me with fog lights (front and rear)

it is illegal or at least advised in the highways code not to use them in fair or good weather

I like to see people using them, gives you a very easy marker to see who the idiots are and more time to avoid them. Let them carry on, it’s usually blokes who suffer from penis envy who do it anyway.

Illegal - Regulation 27(2) Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989

I used to use them in america if people were following to close quick flick on of the rear fog lights and speed up while they slow down all confused like:D stopped doing it though when i did it in the Jag and the trunk button was next to the fog button. a note to you all opening your trunk at motorway speeds is not advisable! i pulled off at the next stop luckly i hadn’t opened it after all:w00t:

Front fogs don’t bother me as they are - or should be - set fairly low and have a diffused beam. Rear fogs left on really p3ss me off…cause all sorts of aggro in traffic…brakes coming on or a clown who “forgot to switch them off”? . Isn’t it an offense to drive with them on when not needed?

Me too.

I often use them in clear weather simply because I like how it looks. They aren’t blinding and nowhere near as bright or badly angled as most cars normal headlights. I always use them on the motorway to intimidate people in front of me hoping they’ll get out of my way.

Don’t really see it that often in car drivers, p1sses me off when people on bikes do it though, especially if they’re behind me as it dazzles me via the mirrors.

Wha…?:hehe:

Can’t see a c0ck option!!

Its funny that people always remember to turn them on when theres a slight fog in the air but never remember to turn them off, even though there`s a light on the dash that tells you they are on.

Cool people use them during the day and then turn them off at night. They also remember to turn them on when it’s raining and off when it is actually foggy.

Nobs:Whistling:

The new black cabs have especially bright fogs… and they get dead arsey when you tell them to turn them off. Turn them off or get a ticket, nice and simple

Try seeing it from the on coming traffic point of view. They ARE blinding and they ARE usually set incorrectly and believe me they DONT intimidate anyone. It just p1sses people off.

Try and intimidate me on the motorway or any road and I’ll slow down in front of you. Get arsey and I’ll let you by then sit on your **** with my brights. Get aggressive and you’ll lose your mirrors. There is no need for it. End of.

I’ll just undertake you at the next opportunity. You wont be able to hold me up for long, why waste your time? If I want to go faster than you, get out of my way. You can try sitting behind me if your fast enough but my car mirrors automatically dim lights from behind :stuck_out_tongue: Oh, and if you attempt taking my mirrors off becuase you’ve been a dick about letting a faster vehicle through, I will knock you off - end of.

oohhh that’s posh does it do you’re washing up for you also:P

Nah, that’s the next model up, lol.

Is it me, or is that a very selfish thing to say? How would you feel if someone deliberately tried to intimidate you on the road, or if you came across a post on here where one of the LB-ers had come off second best in an incident where a car had deliberately tried to intimidate them? I can’t believe you’d be saying: “Oh, good for the car driver. They probably just liked the way it looked, which is enough justification for any foolish and dangerous action in my book”

Hey, people I meant this post as a bit of tongue in cheek humour. There’s no need to be bitchy, so, please be nice to each other…
