Just a reminder for anybody heading into London: for parking regulation purposes, today is just another Monday, not a bank holiday, so normal parking regulations are in force. Bike bays only, I’m afraid, or be prepared for a ticket.

Every bank holiday, I see violent scenes between motorists and parking attendants over whether today should be considered a Sunday. So far, no luck, it’s just another manic Monday…
There was a bloke on the radio a few months back who’d been caught driving in a London bus lane during it’s hours of operation by one of the monitoring CTV cameras & received a fixed penalty notice. The fact that it was Xmas day & no buses run on Xmas day made no difference as far as the council was concerned, they wanted their pound of flesh - rules is rules !
