Parking in Barking

I need to find a secure bike parking space in Barking (office hours) around East Street market (IG11). Any thoughts? I have tried the local area, but anything looking remotely secure is resident parking only with threats to remove ‘illegally’ parked vehicles. I thought central London was a bugger, but east is even worse, no parking bays at all (not that I’ve been able to find).

Just in case anybody else is looking in Barking, discovered today that bike parking is free in all Barking & Dagenham car parks including the multi storey car park on London Road :w00t::w00t::w00t:. Car drivers pay £12.50 for 6 hours.
