So, my daughter has made it into the Regionals for swimming and we are there this weekend… is there a safe place to park bikes around there… I hear the horror stories of Westfield so that is a no go for sure… thanks…

I would risk taking your bike
If taking bike, Stratford intnl car park has free motorcycle parking out front
It’s all a good multistory car park alternative to Westfield, as you can actually just pay online, up to 24hrs after as there are no barriers, just number plate recognition. I find that saves a lot of time but it’s actually not in an entirely convenient place I would say if you aren’t huge on walking
There’s bike parking opposite on the stadium on Roach and Dace Rd which is on the Hackney rather than Stratford side. It’s on a big street and there’s always van loads of bored police hanging around because the area is considered a high risk terrorist target. I wouldn’t leave a bike there overnight but during the day it’s really safe. Muff customs used to be based there and would park their bikes up with no problems.

Make The Future Live will take place on the Park from Thursday 25 – Sunday 28 May 2017. Road closures will be implemented to facilitate the event between 20 - 31 May, which will affect users of the London Aquatics Centre.
The London Aquatics Centre car park will be closed from Monday 20 May – Wednesday 31 May 2017 and will re-open for London Aquatics Centre users on Thursday 1 June 2017.
The London Aquatics Centre blue badge parking will be out of use from Wednesday 17 May to Wednesday 31 May 2017. Please note between 20 May – 31 May, 15 blue badge parking bays will be relocated to Stratford Waterfront, still within close proximity to the London Aquatics Centre. Diversion signs will be in place to direct customers to this parking.
Coach drop off is still available at London Aquatics Centre until Friday 19 May, after which there will be no coach drop off in the South of the Park until 1 June 2017.
Our streets (Roach and Dace Rd) aren't in those closures so it should be fine.
