I presume he’s trying to achieve spamming/ advertising tha Xfinity thing (whatever it may be)

Xfinity is the brand used by a cable company in the U.S. It is not advertising, but definitely a spambot account.
You now see them make generic posts to seem like a genuine user in case there is a period of moderation for new users, or because the spam is in their signature (which Jay’s software does not have) or on their profile.
