Off to Nurburgring........

Hello all,

First post on the forum

I’m off to Nuburgring on Friday till Monday and the forcast is Sunny everyday till Friday then rain Friday, Saturday and Monday  …then gets sunny again

Its my first time there so I am very excited and also very nervous ! going to be taking it easy though no hero racing for me !

I did the Ring when I was about 14 in the back of my Dads Renault 25 - my sister and I were sitting facing backwards telling him to move left or right whenever bikes were fast approaching…which was pretty much the whole way round! Our friends were behind us…in their VW Polo complete with roof rack and suitcases - their line round the Carousel was lets say ‘amusing’!

Have a great time, its the most amazing place

Hubby and I hoping to do it on our bikes in the autumn

Nice one dude, let us know how it goes…hope the rain holds off for you.

do you get like a half day pass

or do u just get to go round once?

yeh hope its good

and the weathers not too ****

Great weekend ahead of you. Not been there for a while but really enjoyed it. There was an M5 there being driven by one of the staff - -she didn’t need anybody to look out for bikes coming up behind her, in fact she was leaving quite a few of us for dead… She drives the Ringtaxi if you fancy a trip - not for the faint hearted:w00t:

HAVE A GREAT ONE MATE.

WILL HAVE TO GO ONE DAY WHEN I HAVE A BIKE THAT WILL MAKE IT:P

five of us are going with the ring junkies group and they have organized everything, they been amazing and I will give a report on my return.

I have also applied for a go in the ring taxi which looks amazing

alright for some! have a good one

I got back from the ring yesterday - had an amazing weekend!

If you fancy a good steak try & eat at Pistenklause - just up the road from the ring, comes on a hot stone so you can cook it to how u like it  Waitresses are nice aswell :stuck_out_tongue:

Is this the same women who has been on top gear a few times?

Just looked it up on youtube - yes it’s her. She can make that BMW fly - no visible effort whatsoever. I would advise anyone to take the trip in the ringtaxi as it’s very unlikely you will experience anything like it again:w00t:

Yeah thats the one - Sabine Schmitz

Heres some of my pics from the weekend - hopefully you can see em without having to join facebook etc

i group of my friends have just come back yesterday from the ring with some of the same pics as mark has. lol

Ha ha  every time I go I take the same pics in the same places of some of the same cars ha ha

they know andy with the beemer, pm sent

hello all,
Got back from Nuburgring Monday night and I can give it a 10/10
It was absouletely amazing and I would recomend it to anyone. We went with www.ringjunkies.co.uk and I have to give them 10/10 as well. It is terrifying the first few laps when you go out and all of sudden a Porsch GT3 appears on your back tyre ! but ring junkies took us out for 8 laps showing us the race line and making sure we were safe. I will defintely go back !
