Hey guys ive been thinking for a while that id like to do another honda or any other off road day in the spring, i did mne about 2 years ago and paid about £170 for the day including bike and all the kit. It was a real good laugh!.
Just wondered who might be interested in doing this, and maybe we can sort a trip out?
Me, me, me. I was talking to Paul600 about this last weekend.
Maybe we could do the one in the Lake District and make a long weekend out of it?
Been looking at the BMW weekend for a while now, on an F650. Will keep ya posted!
Edit: If I survive wheelie school, that is…
wicked! lustie im liking that idea!, and keti bmw`s sound good too!!
I reckon I’d be up for this too. (like Keti, if I survive wheelie school!)
once youve finished doing your evil kinevel stunts!!! hehe
We’ll be launching ourselves over rows of double deckers yet, you just wait ![]()
ha ha, i wanna see you through hoops of fire too!!!
I hope just mean you and sherri while I watch from the side-lines cheering?
Bring on the 17th Feb!
we’ll be following you over those double deckers ![]()
Yamaha do one in Winchester and people I know have done it and found it very good indeed. Would be up for a day event but not the long weekend. ![]()
i also think we need to keep the prices realistic, i will make some enquiries about costs for both weekend and day trips.
I did the Yamaha day last year, and it was a good laugh but dont go expecting to learn how to ride off road, it’s more just a case of getting on the bike and off you and try not to fall off!! they used wr250’s and wr450’s there was about 12 people there and they split you down into groups of four so you go out for around 15-20 min then come in and swap over.
The track they use is not far from winchester and its called tony moto which is part of a quarry, there is a big motox track, the practice track which you would use and a couple of smaller tracks which kids could use, i also think they have there own website? and run similar kind of events.
found the website http://www.tonymotomx.com/tmmx/
yeah great danno thanks for the details, its not really about riding of road more about just getting out there and having a good day!
I could be up for this, the earlyist I could do it would be april as got wheelie school in feb, France in march & I ain’t won the lottery yet ![]()
We might even get a discount, Tonymoto mite be a relative ![]()
couple of photos for you,but it is all about just having a laugh!!!

i like the honda site cos its through woodland, and is full of deep muddy troughs!!! i was caked last time, great laugh!!!
we tried to book with the honda site but when you rang there was no answer, no replies to emails, so we booked with yamaha who got straight back to us
AJ and I have been looking at this for some time; AJ having doen the SA version of the BMW course last October
It really depends on cost for us and timing of it all as we have a lot of plans for 2007 but definately interested.
Paul600 recommended the CAS Honda one straight away - and as he has raced at a high level for a number of years obviously knows where to go;
Or there is the BMW one in Wales - its a day on the bikes not short time slots like the Yam school but is therefore expensive - you use either F650GS or R1200GS’s so not lightweight machines!!!
The short cut is:
