Odd clutch wear

I took the clutch plates out the DRZ today to clean and check them after it took a drink in Salisbury plain, and found that one of the friction plates has worn down to the metal, and worn groves into the pressure plate. The other friction plates all appear alright (though I’ve not measured them).

Any idea what would cause this one to wear much faster than the others? the clutch has not been slipping.

(contrary to how it appears, that top one is a friction plate)

Also, im assuming this is normal and expected wear, i can feel them with my finger

Grit got in it, making it sit wonky?

water got into the oil, but it wasnt run in the water.

i stopped the engine when the bike stopped moving forward, but then spent about 20min trying to get it out (its a very silty bottom). I think this has been happening for a while
