I’ve been using one of those for years, on my glasses, car windscreen etc… I’ve always found it works well but you have to re-apply every couple of weeks
number plate, Chain lube and some dirt - jobs a good un 
There’s always the ‘courier special’ i.e. have a chain obscuring most of the plate !

There are some big numbers of people getting away with not paying stuff in there. Those buggers that are not paying their VED is compromising the govt’s income. Meaning either we who do pay pay more or we who do pay get shite roads. Either way that is a good purpose.
I dont see how they just can’t be removed from the bike if someone is that intent on breaking the law…
Remember reading of an ingenious fellow that had a spare number plate rigged to cover his in the event of a camera. James bond db5-esque.
well when less than 20% of road tax revenue is actually put back in to the roads…it doesnt matter who is getting away with not paying what. numbers wont add up until they use ROAD TAX to spend on…wait for it…THE ROADS!!!

Nope, correct you are sir. If 100% were to be spent on the roads somewhere else would be short meaning taxes rise to make up for it 
If 20% of ved is spent on the roads, the more collected equals more spent.
why would be short elsewhere? surely they tax us for the use of the roads, so that money should be for the roads?
why dont they raise the revenue via tax for whatever else they are spending it on?
