Not that easy to wheelie....

Havent really tried too much if im honest, been concentrating on keeping my high average speed up and keeping infront of Sneaky

But…the damn thing dont like wheelies! Have I bought the only anti wheelie KTM out there?

I dont want to ruin the clutch but the R6 popped up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd easily on the clutch. Granted its a different bike.

So techniques? pointers? I want my SuperKnobberHooligan badge back.

Only wheelies I’ve manged on either KTMs have been accidental.
But Adz prooved the EXC wheelies well and does good stoppies when I asked him to check the bike over

ask Moto (not Moto ‘King’) or ASBO about KTM OWO manoeuvres!

You out on the BCR tomorrow? If so, I can give you a few tips

Nope sorry. Got familys stuff to crack on with…

The lc4 is a very easy bike to wheelie, the way the power is delivered means it’s easy to pull off decent lengths on the back wheel.

Clutching up in second is definitely the best way. It just needs a healthy wind of the throttle while you dip the clutch to bring it up to height nicely.

Darren did not have problems to wheelie his LC4 660 smc

I don’t think its any harder to wheelie my current lc4 690 smc then my previous exc’s.

Try my way; rev up to 5-6k, off and on the throttle… so easy to power wheelie single cilinder bikes

Have you try’d full gas in 1st then dump the clutch:D

Yep! Did it on lanes on way to way, spun up the rear which was run, kept it going for about 200meters!

My Lc was best if you reved her out in first, use the clutch to go to second , then just give it a handful as you dump the clutch after snicking second and up it came .
