Hi, welcome along .
For breakdown cover I’m with GEM (guild of experienced motorists. No joke. Excellent. But I’m Old
And your probably not.
)
Hi Hels, hi Drunk Knight and bricking it!
LOVE YOUR SCREEN NAME!! That’s exactly how I feel when I throw my leg over that weird beast (the bike).
Old? Guess that’s a good thing: I was told by one guy that there are no clumsy, old bikers. ![]()
Welcome …
Just for kicks you should check out the Sunday morning ride outs in the ‘Ride Outs, Meets & Events’ section, look out for the ‘125 friendly’ ones.
On the breakdown cover front I’m with the RAC, it came with the bike. RAC Triumph Assist, not sure if it is any different from the standard RAC cover, but what impressed me with the Triumph Assist was the free recovery to my local main dealer following an RTA! Highly recommended.
Hi There and welcome to LB
RAC for me, been with them about 5 years now joint cover and have never let us down when we have needed them.
Would always worry me - someone offering me breakdown cover when buying a bike!!
Depends who/what the “breakdown cover” is for… LOL!!!
As much as I hate sales pitches, one salesman had it spot on - he said - you’re not going to have a spare tyre on your bike, are you?
I know there are patch kits etc, but the thought of having to use one in the dark whilst in the rain did not really appeal.
put a face to the name, its a good night, the more the turn out the better:D
Hello and welcome to LB:D
Hi & Welcome To LB I Too Ride A CBR 125 with L Plates

Welcome to LB -
You’ve joined just in time, as the good weather is about to start

Sunny here down Saaaarf of Landan!
So sunny in fact that this afternoon i am “pootling” with my friend.
But yeah, might be worth checking out BM tonight, or newbie night next monday…
