Been a while since I’ve been out there, but you were always able to park for free right outside the terminal.
However, looking at their site, it now seems bikes have to pay:

Never really understood why motorcycle parking would be free, especially at airports when you consider the premiums the land can attract.

because motorbikes do not represent 1/10 of the people arriving to the airport, while cars take shitload of space that they otherwise could monetise selling the land for real state, hotels… Etc there is no business on motorbike parking. Plus it’s a nice gesture to allow bikes to stay for free, as most of the airports do across Europe
Bikes do take up parking space, just as cars do.
Doesn’t seem unreasonable to charge a proportion of the car charge to bikes to reflect the space used. Annoying maybe if you’re used to it being free but not unreasonable.
Good lord… How much we like to step on our own shoes in here…
I’m not saying it’s unreasonable, just saying that they make pocket money out of bikes in comparison with cars, and that it would be nice not to charge.
But hey I suggest you even give them a tip next time you leave your bike there and give them a hand next time they need resurfacing, even better pay twice or thrice. They might Eve fit ground anchors with such nice costumers.

Hi Been using this company near Stansted Airport for some time now, they are about 2.5 miles from the airport with very good security, CCTV-flood lighting and barriers. They operate 24/7 as they also park car for VIP customers, really worth a look. Also the prices are very good. Stansted Easy Motorbike Parking
