Alexandra Palace official (paid) one is on the 7th, but you get a great view across london if you go up there tonight, normally a few others up there. Otherwise Blackheath on the 7th is free and while it’ll be busy you can stand away from the masses and still get a reasonable view.
The words “damp squib” spring to mind.
I love watching on Primrose Hill when the weathers good.

There is a smaller park opposite the main one behind Kitto Road and Drakefell Road. If you don’t mind steeping in dog poo you get a good view of all of London’s sky line

My sons calls them chav lumps!
They were made from the rubble from the old Wembley stadium. There’s quite a good wildland park behind them for kids & dogs to run round in.
In that area our vote would be Horsenden Hill - a bit higher with views over London and at night no threat from golfballs from the adjoining course. People go up there for NYE views especially. Just watch out for dodgy geezers in the carpark. We used to take our dog there and even on Saturday afternoons they were there for gay dogging action 
Horsenden Hill golf club has a firework display tonight (Friday)
Open to the public I think tickets are about£6.00 adults.
I will be watching the display by Motley Crew at Wembley.
Jet according to local dog walkers the gay dogging action was midday on Sunday’s!
When I used to take the horses up there you’d see all sorts day and night in the bushes lol
Go up watch the fireworks then go into the Ballet Box for a meal and few drinks
