New PC Virus - Deletes All MP3's

Just heard about this on Radio1 - apparently this virus will delete all your MP3’s no matter where their saved on your Pc.

Wont affect Mac’s etc

hehe, I think it’s a hoax. I’m MacOSX and Linux user so I don’t really care anyway

Don’t Worry!!! Yes its true, however only a VERY small number of computers have been reported to have been infected, as in 0-49 infected and 1-2 websites have been taken by it!

What is suggested is that to be safer than sorry to burn all music on to CDs or DVDs - even it you burn it in .mp3 format as a data disc you will be safe!
