New Bike, New Start

Welll I have been pretty quiet biking wise this last year or so - had so many probs - mainly family, but they are now dead, well almost - so problems solved.

So to celebrate I have bought a new bike, and got rid of my trusty CBR. Served me well for last 8 years, but time for change. So have bought a CBF1000. Really pleased with it, got the panniers top box, sat nav and all the usual tosh.

Been off to Yorkshire touring round - did about 2000 miles and it goes soooo well and so much better for touring. No more soft luggage etc.

I have always been anti sat nav, mp3 players and all thaqt crap, but I am now totally converted. Found places in Yorkshire I’d never have found so easily with just a map.

So looking forward to next year!

its the bad that makes the good

Great to see you are ok Mick, you will have to come to a meet and show us your new bike

Talking bout me? hmmmt that sounds worrying lol Well I shall be coming to meets now and then, but as u prob know i work crap shifts and live in Kent, so will be as and when, but intend to do as many rideouts etc as I can from now on
