You able to bring a cable free brick drill? I can supply a spirit level.
I need some shelves put up in my garage, but I want it done properly because there will be expensive bikes sat underneath the shelves, with various large lumps of metal sat on the shelves and I don’t want them falling on the bikes.
So have to be proper sturdy, and I could use some advice on what shelves, what fixings etc etc.

hahahaha. the shelving that you require is the office type of adjustable shelving
you can order them from either b&q or screwfix.
1x downward steel every 50-60cm away should do with 15mm melamine but as you’re using large heavy items then I’d rather you use 18mm plywood as it wont sag after time. mdf also sags with time (6months)
The brackets come in different lengths so be sure how deep you want the shelving and then get the bracket that fits it

This shelving takes heavy weight well although it makes sense to have the most weight against the wall and not in front
I think you’d make more the other way round.
