Name this caliper

Yes it’s a Brembo unit but does anyone know which bike it was original fitment on as I need to order new pads.

It’s now on a CB 500.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

If you take the pad out it may still have a part number on the back. If not you could match it to the templates in the catalogue.

Dunno , but FA244 is a common size for brembos . I got crossover on those on a few bikes .

Post a pic of the pad . I will know then

Probably a Grimeca. Don’t be fooled by the cast in name. My “Grimeca” master cylinder turned up in a Brembo box.

These guys are the dogs bo**ocks for information and heavily discounted prices.

i think they did originally come with them dude, they look familiar…

might be off an early ducati?? monster maybe?

Yeah, I think they did come with those. They ain’t the best by any stretch … 2 pot with crappy floating mechanism.

Italian built CB500’s had similar (if not the same) brembo’s fitted as OEM. Do you know for sure it’s a retro fitment or are you assuming?

Oem part dude

Knew I could count on you guys. Your collective knowledge knows no bounds

Now to replace the poor quality pads with something decent.

Cheers peeps

Yes it’s OEM. My Y Reg CB500 had Brembo brakes and it was stock bar the aeroplane screen and straight through pipe. If you look closely at the brake levers you’ll see that they are Brembo too.
