I want to get LED indicators to be seen better but saw this - are they naff or good ? Have to say I like it but not sure it’ll be clear enough which way I’m indicating to a cart from a distance ?

Pretty naff…are they legal on UK roads??

Flatout has something like that on his bike - looks good and works well.

Yep !!!

Naffmaster Flats has got em !!

naffybravo has 'em too

cleans up the back of the bike nicely. lot easier to see than the stock ones on the r1 judging by sundays ride with aymoon

i dont think you’re in much danger of being hit by a cart mate.

I just got this horrible image of the Hoff on a superbike…Knightrider returns! NOOOOOOOOOOoooo!!

Matt has these on his fazer as well I remember helping fit them! lol

Uber Naff… Sorry

Good to look at but I think it has to be a naff for me.

If you break and indicate at the same time, you cant really see the indication. Not safe I think…

That’s a good point ! I could leave the indicators where they are and not use the indicators in the new light pod, just means getting more led bulbs for the existing indicators.

not true. you can see the brake lights fine when indicating

+1. How can you give an opinion on something you have not seen for yourself?

I have one and it is much clearer then the standard tail unit as it has about 4 times as many LEDs. It looks great and work just as well. Having great big fugly amber stalks sticking out the back is naff IMO

There naff when it comes to mot’s

i like em, the only ones i didnt like where fitted to a zx6r same year as vegas’s bike, they tidy up the rear but where very difficult to see the indicator during the daytime?? ok at night but dodgy in the day
if i didnt have the built in indicators in my undertray i would definatly have one!!

bit naff for mot time, worry about that at mot time i say!!

Great, But they are not ‘‘E’’ marked, Its up your the MOT garage if your bike will pass or not, I had these on my R1 and was never pulled up or stopped, But they state in the fitting guide ‘‘For competition use only’’ so its up to you, Most people ignore this.

Easy to fit, Amateur mech skills only.

I say go for it.

Thanks, I think I’ll give them a go, my current tail light doesn’t have a number plate light either which could be a problem. I assume bikes are the same as cars and need a plate light ?

i meant you cant see the indications when you break.

and i have seen them.

it is nt a legal requirment to have a number plate light on a bike,

imo i dnt really like em, but hey give em a shot!

not saying they’re all of the same quality - different brands use diff numbers of leds, some as led boards, some as complete units etc.

I’m not saying you’ve not seen one on a bike but I own one. i can assure you that the one i bought works fine. if it didn’t work i wouldn’t have used it

its not hard to reattach the original indicators come MoT time should your garage not like the integrated unit. generally if they can see the indicators from the required distance and angles, you dont face a lot of bother. its often a question of how many things have you done that are stretching it. mega loud can with ‘for race use only’ stamped on the side, invisibile indicators, microscopic plate etc and you start to what they’re prepared to give you grace on.
