If you are the rider of R7 SOR, please tell me why you feel the need to undertake me in moving traffic, then cut right in front of me. Is there really any need for this stupid behaviour on a busy stretch of road in the dark at night?!
im so phucked off with some of these idiot riders day in day out.
im off to make a strong coffee and try and think about summit else, grr.:exclamationmark:
it so makes me wanna give up the bike at times.
But i wont, id rather ride in my own limits and get to work safely, i Know there is no guarantee, but you have a better chance if you slow it down when you need to.
Is that Fireblade Paul posting instead of you this morning Westie?
I would have to agree that he certainly fits his bike gear well and it makes me smile in the morning
With regard to his riding… This fellow is VERY progressive in the mornings and I tend to let him get on with it as he never holds me up. Maybe just enjoy the eye candy and don’t get angry
Just sit behind him and let him filter for you…leaving you to get to work quicker with a nice view at the same time and if he gets knocked off you’ll be there to administer first aid!
Whilst its certainly no excuse to cut someone up. Had he been behind you for sometime or is he just a twitt? I dont know what speed you ride when you “Slow it down”, but some riders just wont get out of the way when they ride at a pace they’re comfortable with and continue along mile after mile oblivious to the 304 bikes all trying to get passed?
Heh. It’s always puzzled me that large BMWs with gigantic panniers don’t seem to have working mirrors. Then there’s the visibility issue. A big guy with a fluorescent jacket on a GS means that my eye line is completely blocked by the middle of his back.
firstly i wasnt going that slow,
and secondly there were atleast 3/4 other bikes all keeping up with the flow of the traffic, it wasnt a situation where overtaking or undertaking were suitable due to the amount of traffic and wet/greasy roads.
I dont easily get offended and as most of us do on our daily commute we all see some irratic riding and this was some of the worst!
Yeah, I know what you mean. There are a few that’ll happily move over. There’s a guy on a Pan I see sometimes on the way to work, I cant keep up with him on my Supermoto! well, not without riding right out of my comfort zone. I’ll happily ley him by! The Virgin Taxi bikes are particularly bad for not moving over. I think thats the Advanced Motorist “I know better than you” bit showing through. I must admit to showing quite some contempt to one of these guys when I eventually got passed him;)
