My tyre case

So in court yesterday for my under inflated tyre. I got a £470 fine and 3 points. C*nted.

Am i missing something?? Please explain

wtf vegas! do they book you over here for that? do they carry round pressure gauges or summ’n?

Oh mate, Broady and I were only discussing your case over tea and cake on Wednesday.

We were sure it would get thrown out.

Bastids!!!

Gutted fot you mate:crying:

How did they come up with £470? Is it based on your financial situation or the offence?

Someone tipped the beak off that Hayden likes Peppermint Tea;):D:D

Are you sure the fine wasn’t for wearing them boots in a built up area?;):stuck_out_tongue:

Has to be more to the story that only a single “under inflated tyre” - Come on, fess up

If only mate, fines are now means tested, so I had my pants pulled down.

Yeah traffic have tyre gauges on them, malignant c*nts most of them.

That is one seriously an*l traffic cop.:doze:

Remember to check your tyre pressures at every red light peeps;)

What a joke:crazy: How under inflated was the tyre?

Note to oneself, if stopped by plod for tyre check and it’s under inflated, claim to have checked it the day before so must have a slow puncture. If it doesn’t work, get the bike home and make a small puncture, get it repaired and get a receipt, cheaper than a fine:angry:

That’s right, and for about £2.50 you can have one as well and learn how to keep your tyres inflated to the right pressure…thus avoiding needless penalty points and fines.

Calling them C*nts because of your own flaws and lack of basic bike maintenance is hardly thier fault is it now…

It was deflated as a result of a puncture you tard.

Yeah everybody, remember not to get a puncture as porky said, good advice.

Harsh but true, I carry one and I must admit that I only check once every two weeks.

As the others have said how under inflated was the tyre? What is the correct pressure?

If I remember correctly Vegas had unknowingly just picked up a slow puncture:doze:

was that way back when at marble arch???

There’s no humanity anymore - no helping your fellow man and getting a ticking off with a warning. Its not like you’d go out of your way to get a puncture and you would gain absolutely nothing even if you did! Its your life on the line so any underinflated tyre has to be an oversight or puncture right?

Tell me - what is the use of charging you that much when all it serves to do is tarnish your view of what the old bill do. That’s one less vote, one more disgruntled joe public etc etc.

I think its obscene mate - I can only presume you had an attitude when you got stopped and they took a dislike.

Are you sure it wasnt a £47 and a zero crept in there?

:ermm:
your the biggest piece of sh*t for riding around with a deflating tyre believe it or not!.

riding on a known/possible tyre-deflation, … dear-oh-dear…

Where is your proof that Hayden knew about it Mr Mystery Police Man?

FOUND IT!!!

+1 that was a proper knob comment. yes a lot of people can feel the difference including myself. last year though i had a puncture and didn’t know about it till my tyre was down to 18psi.
