nice bike mate - i love the classic yamaha race colours yellow-black on the r1.

to complete that nice bike you need the lb-stickers mate…hehe

Mmmmm indeedy, just the stickers to go, then I think we’ll have the sweetest R1 on the Forum.

Any other R1 fans fancy a fight/debate?

Thanks, yeah was looking at the stickers, will get some when available in Yellow (for the black screen)

Sweet R1, that bike can make any dark, damp, British day look special.

Lovely looking bike mate! I’ve always been a fan of the traditional Yamaha racing colours, and was very pleased to see Rossi & Edwards sporting them at Laguna Seca earlier in the year. See you around!

exactly what i thought when i have seen the doctor in the yellow suit and his yellow bike.

Thank you for your comments, very kind words.

The colour scheme was derived from Kenny Roberts, with a touch of Harris, brought up to date with the 50th Anniversary scheme from Laguna.

I had the bike back a month when Yamaha announced that they were doing something similar for the 2006 R1 oh well it was unique for a while.

Very nice mate, what or where are the Carbon infills you mention and where did you get the rear number board it looks much better than my moto grafix one, it covers a greater area- yours that is

Carbon infills are between the tank and the frame, the number boards are painted on, the chap that sprayed the bike layered the three colours masking each area.

Impressive list on your R1

OK cheers, ive just updated the list for my bike. A couple of goodies i mist off, im looking at brake discs now but cannot make my mind up, may just go with Braking Wave discs
