Bit of advice…
I used to have exactly the same bike.
Get a trickle charger! Seriously.
If you have the standard alarm, it automatically engages when you walk right?
WEll that sucker is lethal on batteries and if you don’t want to keep finding yourself waiting for a bump from the SOS guys, get yourself a trickle charger and keep that battery topped up.
I had the '04 600 Bandit for 7 months and the battery went 3 times cos of that ruddy alarm sucking all the juice out.
