After my little smashycrashybash recently, i got paid out by Carol Nash within two weeks and was over the moon with the valuing of my bike
So i drove down to Dorset and picked this puppy up the week before Christmas with 5600 on the clock…happy days. The queston is, what do i change first?
The brakes are **** so i’m thinking braided lines first. Has anyone found much improvement with expensive master cylenders etc? Might be nice to get brombo’d up on the bars? Exhaust is the next obvious biggie. It would feel sacreligeous to buy anything other than a Yoshi tho. Anyway, any mod suggestions welcome
I haven’t got a GSXR but on most suzukis the brakes are ****. I got a GSX650F and braided lines did fix the majority of the softness and lack of stopping. You’ll get the 2 front and the rear Goodridge lines for £60 off ebay brand new. Also look at the clutch line does make a difference. These are £26.50 from Goodridge. If they currently don’t manufacture them for your bike you can send in the OEM and its free. Give them a call to sort it out.
new DP racing pads straight away, the one’s in there looked like soap.first choice would be a de-cat taylormade with carbon undertray from the US http://www.racetaylormade.com/wordpress/?cars=200607-suzuki-gsxr-600750-underbelly-exhaust-kit
if you wanted something more common then the Akra snub with decatthen a HID bulb conversion to blind all on coming taxi driversDB screen, stomp grip, brake lines
good luck ordering from demon tweaks you may receive it in 6 months if your lucky, the Arrow pipe does look a damn sight better than the stock stubby can tbh:)
Definaty one of the nicest looking exhausts, and the guy actually had one he was selling separately, but apparently it’s soo noisy that you’ll struggle to get on track days.
Who / where do I take her for this suspension setup?
search for “B” on the forum. he’s based in twickenham and does the setups for pretty much everyone. his business is called BNRacescience. he has a website too
You can also spray the Titanium Akro black with heat paint stuff, thats what they did with mine and as it matches the frame on my blade it looks pukka.
