my bmw for sale

selling my bm soon. its a 323i se e46 model, 99 t reg. genuine 68k just taxed it and will mot it soon aswell. its been lowered, has 18" wheels with newish tyres, clear lights allround, boot lip spoiler, nokia bluetooth hands free which will work with any bluetooth phone, 6 disc cd in boot and factory total closure alarm. (locks doors and shuts windows from the key fob. this car was bought damaged for a friend of mine in 2002 and subsequently repaired as a present for his wife for £11600. (they were £14000 at the time) it ONLY had cosmetic damage to the nearside. no structural damage or steering, wheels or suspension. my mates wife had the car with 16k miles for 4 years and i bought it from them to give to my missus when it had 56k. she had it for 18 months then decided she wanted a people carrier so i sold it to another mate of mine who then spent around £1200 on it with a full service, wheels and suspension. he recently got the bug for a cabriolet (know what thats like) and i bought it back again!!! so ive known where this car has been since 2002. it has not be abused and really is a lovely car. i nearly had a deal with a guy who had a nice van on ebay recently, he hpi"d it and said it was clear, which surprised me as ive always assumed it was recorded. but while we were negotiating someone hit the buy it now button for his van and that was that. i want to sell it as the missus still keeps going on about a cabriolet and so do the kids now but iam getting an urge for a 5 series bmw…
well the urge won… ive bought a 5 series bmw so she has to go… £2750. really is a lovely car.

Not a bad looking motor, wouldnt keep up with my moto on the twisties and it certainly wont out accelrate it, not even my mates m3 can.

Wrong section to be sellin the motor me thinks

no but my 950 will lunch your bmx m8…thanks for the input…

Nice bikes, the 950 looks too chunky though for my liking. Its not a real supermoto, well not in my eyes anyway :stuck_out_tongue:

mine neither but as a road bike it kicks arse… the ickle bikes are great for a 30 mile blast on a sunday morning on the back roads, but the 950 is the better bike for anything more than that…

Disagreed, i rode mine all the way down to colliers row and back today. I can ride it all day without any dramas. I even ride home on her from time to time which is 130 miles from here.

as many on here will vouch i used my 660 and 560 and regularly did 250 to 300 miles in a day…but the 950 does it better, thats it, end of… ive had/have the bikes so iam speaking from expeirence. nothing would touch my 560 round the real tight back roads and for that it is the best bike, but anything other than that the 950 is better.

how much i love my 660smc i can do about 200miles but after that it can get exhausting but still fun:) will be looking into getting the 950 super enduro & stick 17 rims on it next year:cool:

btw nice bmw does it do wheelies:D

Very nice BMW, lots a car for the price, I gotta go with ASBO on the 950 debate, i dont think its a “proper” supermoto, i speak from experience after buying a 950 after a few EXC,s, and i gotta say it was soulless, too clinical and quite frankly boring for the sort of riding we do,more of a big naked than a supermoto (Which should be a single ) but thats only my opinion…Back to the BM, a fella in work is on the lookout for something nice and thats in his budget ,i,ll show him the pics tomorrow at work…

have seen the car & its a tidy bit of kit for the money:cool:

ok, ive never said the 950 is a proper supermoto…???re read my posts m8… but if any of you single cylinder purists wanna race me from eastbourne to rye and back on the backroads (60 miles roundtrip) ill gladly oblige and demonstrate my point. which is;

ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE REAL TIGHT BACKROADS THE 950 IS A BETTER BIKE. faster, more comfortable and more reliable… ive suggested eastbourne to rye as its 60 miles and thats about the limit in fuel for the singles… another thing the 950 doesnt suffer from.

so…any takers???

btw, thanks for passing on the details of my car m8, much appreciated.

How about you sign upto the the trackday at cadwell and see if you can put us to shame on the track. Why would i wana ride on anything other than the twisties anyway? Thats where all the fun is.

dont ride well on a track tbh… bit alien to me, feel awkward. and iam not talking about motorways or A roads. bring your bike down to eastbourne and ill show you some proper moto roads, and ill wait for you so you dont get lost

Its just a road with out any cars on it. This will be my first track day.

Bit far for me to come on my moto

Gotta say, im enjoying the Fuel thing with my 690 SMC and its underseat 12.5 litre tank, while Mad Dog and ASBO are filling up every 60, im laughing, even constant hammering its getting about 115-120 out of a tankful:cool:

wouldnt be if you had a 950:Pme at brands last year.not a good angle for pic, this was the morning session, by the end of the day pegs were on the deck and the handlebars were halfway up my boots:D great track, just feels weird to me …

sipermoto open the throttle a lil more ya big economist:Dchris for someone thats not into track days wahooped my ass at brands:pinch: we’ll defo have to get down to hastings soon as thats moto country:cool:also them some very sweeeeeeeeeet leathers yo got there chris;)

tis true, i do make em look good though… ive heard some porky geezers bought them now and has burst the zip;)welcome down here anytime m8…
