My son is mad about bikes…in his school report it mentions that his teacher has learnt a lot about bike racing in the last year:) , and every show and tell he bought in one of his toy bikes - Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner etc etc…
At night we often peruse bike magazines, and the Brands Hatch brochure Motor Sport Vision kindly sent me in the spring…
Tonight, however, he surpassed himself… his choice of reading this evening was…
Motorcycle Roadcraft ( The Police bike training manual for the uninitiated)
Good for you Johnse. Whereas my boy is going through the opposite as I live so far out and have to commute in on the London Midland (wife-family members-Hemel, her choice) and too many late turns I dont get to see my lads much during school time to help them…Just got in now from a “gone bent” shift…
There is prob some influence in bikes there though, as when Im lying in off a late one, he goes up and down the hallway with his hands in the riding position making bike noises…lol:D
We have it all the time. He plays bike racing with bits of Lego - blue are Yamaha’s as are yellow, red bricks are Ducatis, Green ones are Kawasaki’s (obviously) and the light blue ones are Rizla Suzukis…And when we are out in our bus, if we are first at the lights, we’re on pole position and if we go off a slip road - we’re going into the pits:rolleyes:
I have similar problems, I do lots of late turns and 1800-0200, and I’m always late off:(I really really need to find a nice 9-5 job - but it would bore me senseless
