tnx for all the comments. Yer got away lightly, bike is fine. spent some time this morning checking and rechecking eveything again from suspension to brake disc/caliper etc. it does appear fine in every respect bar the scorched crash bung - phew.
However my buggering right leg and left ribs are aching like cr@p today from trying (and partially suceeding) to catch the bike. Such is life.
