So I’ve bought my friends bike back off insurance, which is now classed as a cat D. Inspected it and the only thing needed to get it road worthy condition again is replacing the stator casing as it is cracked. The rest is cosmetic…
I wanted to know what the actual procedure was to get it back on the road?
I would personally double check the whole bike I purchased a cat D from a well known salvage company and when received frame was bent and top yoke bust so was actually a Cat B
Also you need to make it road worthy and MOT it sometimes it may require a VIC check but that’s not often at all…
Contact vosa and check on the VIC is more for newer bikes older ones not so much
