Motorbike Accident Solicitors

Hi folks - can anyone recommend any GOOD specialist motorbike accident solicitors (No Win, No Fee Compensation Claims).I had my lower right limb badly fractured (e.g. the shin bone was poking out of the side of my leg) by a stupid woman who drove into the side of me - she has admitted liability so the case is relatively straightforward - however I am not convinced that my current legal team (supplied by my insurers as part of my fully comp insurance) are acting as actively and aggressively as they should be in pursuing my claim - e.g. they get paid the same at the end of the day whether they get me decent compensation or just the bare minimum - in other words they have no incentive to work hard in getting me some decent compensation for my accident. So I would like to hook up with some effective and aggressive lawyers (preferrably with a lot of experience in motorcycle accidents) to act on my behalf instead.

I am not the kind of person who likes to claim compensation for anything and everything that happens to them because I think that the ‘compensation culture’ has a negative effect on society - but in this case I feel that I am justified - as this woman has put me through a lot of physical pain and financial/career/social/physical disruption as the result of some seriously negligent driving.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions. ;)

Sid,

V’s claim is being handled by White Dalton www.whitedalton.co.uk and the service has been excellent and Andrew Dalton is definitely a guy who will fight and not role over.

He met me at the accident site, we spent an hour or so there taking pictures and measurements etc,

The fact he turned up on a bike as well was a big plus.

I’m sure V will post a bit more tomorrow

Rider Support Services. Please call them before making your decision who to use.

The solicitors provided by insurance companies are usually crap and you are under no obligation to use them.

I second White Dalton - they are now handling my 2 year old injury claim… (long story), and doing a great job so far Qx

Thanks very much folks! Much appreciated! I’ll be following up all these leads from tomorrow. ;)

Hi Sid, just to let you know that it might not be easy as you think to
change solicitors. If you have signed a CFA (no win, no fee agreement) they will not be too willing to let you go, also your insurers may have a clause that says you have to use their panel solicitors up until a certain point. Have they actually been negligent? You could get rid of them in this case.

You could try ringing a firm I know - cant recall their number but their web is
www.claimsolicitors.co.uk - they could give you some advice.
