MOTOGP 2016

Well the two Yamaha’s are adapting quickly enough. Lorenzo and Rossi are setting good pace and Stoner has shown the real speed on the older Ducati already. Tomorrow will see his first timed assault in ages alongside the current crop of riders.  Be nice to see how quick he is now.

I predict Marquez is going to have a crap year again

Good to see Rossi up top in those results - desperately want him to take this years GP home!

I really would like Stoner to come back. Maybe he’ll cuddle up this year and make a come back in 2017.

Rossi 1 second a lop slower than Jorge

Stoner’s going to do a wildcard in philip island and leave them all for dust as before.

Is any of this on TV or somewhere I can stream from??? (LEGALLY OF COURSE :-)

@me_groovy… details on this wildcard?!

He said before he will never come back. Now he’s saying he’ll be happy to do some wildcard entries. Seeing as Philip Island is his home track and he was pretty unbeatable there, I predict he’ll come back for a one-off. It’ll be good PR for him, Ducati and Dorna.

I stand corrected, he’s said it’s not an option at the moment.

No no, he said back to racing full time is not an option. I am 100% certain he will wild card in at least 1 race this season… Wager?

I love A&R for their technical analysis: http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/motogp/tuesday-sepang-motogp-test-2016/

Loris Baz did well to walk away from this

No shit.

Stoner fastest Ducati and 5th overall today.  Damn he is fast, but is adamant that he is a “Ducati test engineer”.  He was not even trying for a fast lap, but testing the bike for entry speed, for how the Michelins work with the ECU etc…  soft tyres and focussing on a fast lap would cause embarrassment for the current crop of riders.

I thought BT had right to all the motogp races, qualifying and practices.  They don’t seem to be showing any of the testing practice which is Phillip Island this week.

Anyone know where we can watch this other than spending more hard earned on a motogp.com licence?

I must admit i thought BT were showing all this which is why i subscribed although their coverage when it is on is A*.

If anyone knows where it can be watched please post up for the rest of us (or if you don’t want to put online please send a pm)

I wouldn’t write Marquez off, He will be really hungry after Last season and if Honda can get the Bike sorted before the First race he will be right up there, last season the new chassis and engine just wouldn’t work for him, then when they put the new engine in the Old chassis he hit a bit of form but it was just a bit too late and he had to push too hard and started making silly mistakes.

I can see Jorge hitting form early on and pushing to retain the title but i also think Dani will want to prove his worth after a blistering end to last season, i reckon his last Arm Pump surgery may have finally worked, will be good to see how it lasts through a full season. My prediction for this season is Lorenzo, Marquez, Pedrosa, Rossi and as a surprise i Reckon Bradley Smith may win a race or 2 this year now he has a Full Factory Bike.

I did think Marquez would dominate but after hearing what Cal has said about the electronics it sounds like Honda are more on the back foot than the rest. That throws it a bit more wide open but i still see Marquez winning from Lorenzo, Rossi, Pedrosa and for 5th id say Iannone he is the one that can win races this year on that Duke. Bradley, Cal and Dovi for podiums. Redding will be interesting to watch on the duke and lets hope the suzukis are competitive as then itd make a great season
