I’m leaving directly from work today to ride the Flint Hills Scenic Byway to Manhattan, KS for the long Memorial Day week-end…sunny and gorgeous all week…wake up this morning to storms…ride to work in the rain…get to work, it clears off…getting ready to shut down and head out, and storms are building in the area again.
I’ll live with the rain…but I can’t be out there in the wide open Flint Hills if there is hail or a lot of lightning…
