thanks westy the zed will live to fight another day, ground a hole in the engine casing though that sent oil everywhere and i rounded off two bolts in the casing when getting the stata out of it last night so its currently at a local garage getting drilled out. Once the new casing is back on and its full of oil later tonight it will be ridable (replaced the mirror last night) then all thats left is the cosmetic damage to the seat cowl (part on back order) and new crash bungs and im all set.
well thats ok then. phew!, yes i need to get some r and g`s for me fazer!
unfortunately, not even R&Gs prevent things like this:
