Morning from Golding Barn

Did it go well?

Took me a while to get into the flow. Track was wet in bits at the start so had to be a bit careful. After first session, was fine and got into it.

Now trying to book for day in July, before the move to the Ducati 450s.

All in all a good day but didn’t get chance to ride enduros so I’m a bit sore now

Nice one! We did that a couple of years ago. Loved it.
They’re switching from KTM to Ducati? wow

Yeah, a couple of the folks doing the experiences like me mentioned something about KTM being in financial difficulty. I had read a bit but wasn’t aware it was bad.

The move to Ducati starts at the end of July and they’ll only have 450s to start.

Barry said his folks can tune them down to limit the power, will be interesting to see how novices can cope with them.

Although to be fair there was some pretty shoddy offroading even by experienced road riders.

I’m waiting to.hear if they have a space on a date in July and fingers crossed I’ll get in.

Always felt like just as I’m getting into my flow and confidence the day ends (and I’m knackered) and then start all over after a year or more, so wanted to do two days in close succession.

Are you looking to get your own bike in the future and do green laning ?

I don’t really know. At the moment I have to wait for the kids to grow up a bit.

I’ve been thinking about bikes for years but, for now, Golding Barn is an affordable day out to just stay in touch with two wheels.

It’s only 11 miles from me so it’s quite easy.
