The High Beech/Epping Forest area has been lightly dusted with snow overnight and still it falls, if you’re clear of snow at the moment that’ll be because it hasn’t reached those parts yet.
Not much snow on the way in. Bit heavier in spots but rather quiet at the moment. No issues riding in along Old Kent Road (other than the usual loony drivers wanting to go fast!).
While dropping the kids off to school today, I got overtaken by an idiot on a green Ninja going at 50mph in a 30 limit. Yes, there is a thin layer of snow on the ground, and it’s still snowing. Total cock. If you are going to ride today, take a little extra care! (Although who knows, perhaps this idiot was taking care by his standards, maybe he’d usually be doing 80…).
Dagenham had light dusting, but eased off by 9am. Rode in as roads were clear through to city. Besides a couple of tossers on phones on A13 cutting us up, all was good and overall a bit quieter than usual.
Tomorrow and Wednesday will be more interesting, need to head up to Stevenage to work on site…
Rode in today. Only snow on the cars and grass in the Docklands. Distinct lack of the 2 wheeled sort on the road, although don’t blame anyone who ride in from out of town. Traffic overall was very light this morning. Like it.
