Introducing myself as a recent addition to the members of this forum…
I’d like some advice re bikes suitable for the shorter person- I am 5’ 3" - I want a bike for adventure travel- bit of travel around britain, on the continent and a bit off road. Any suggestions?

I’d look at the BMW F700GS, they do quite a range of lowering options. Or the previous model F650GS (parallel twin, not the older single), again there are some very good lowering options available. Not many manufacturers do official options for lowering bikes.
Ahhh, many thanks for that,I actually spoke to BMW dealer today who suggested I sit on a few bikes as there might be something that can be done to lower for my height. I’ll be there first thing on my day off this week…
Budget? How offroad are you going - gravel, mud, sand?
SV 650? At least if you drop it, theres tonnes of parts!
