Does ANYBODY know of a place that is great for Mini Moto’ing in London/South East England. (i.e. they let you hire and ride them as you would with go karts)
I have tried to ask Prof. Google and Doctor Bing but they don’t seem to know of any centres as all they are interested in are Karting centres.
Last Year I went to the M1 Karting (Near Swindon) and that was Fab…
But need something here…
Any Clue?
Swindon is about the best you’re gonna find from my experience, unless you know anyone in the proper racing circuit…
Whenever you see Mini-Moto rental at big events like MotoGP or WSBK, its the guys from Swindon providing track, kit and bikes… I’ve tried a variety of karting tracks to see if we can arrange to a “mini-moto” night, but the risk of injury is far higher/greater so they’re not keen, PLUS, they’re mostly run by car-snobs… so bikes just don’t get a good look in…

I checked out that traq place in croydon last night and its safe to say i wont be going there by bike if you get my drift.
I asked how many bikes you got ‘errr 12 i think’ was never really the answer i was hoping for. The kit is left out in the open and the box helmets show signs of age aswell as being bleached by the sun.
None of the staff were fully dressed or washed in awhile.
£40 each for a mini moto grand prix 6 at a time.
Just a shame theres no where else local that would do this.

I always fancied the idea of setting up a track, and getting members to bring their own mini moto’s, tried asking tilbury karting track if I could rent their track mid week, but they did’nt want to know:angry:
maybe someone working in “fords” could slip a weekend security gaurd a few quid for using one of their large concreted areas
being a lanky sod, the mini moto’s are the only bike Ive had my knee down on as yet:blush:
