For those who sadly missed the first run I have decided to do an epic sequel for later in the summer. I hope it’ll be just as popular as the first and have (fingers crossed) lovely weather for it. Again this is just an initial brainstorm to begin with to help me build another rideout. This time I’m looking to go East to West.
Please don’t use this as a confirmation whether you are or aren’t coming, I’ll do a confirming post closer to the date (when I get set on one, currently looking at end of July beginning of August). It will be a Saturday night through to Sunday Morning.
So far I’ve sketched out the following:
Blackheath Tea Hut - for briefing tea, food and fag break.
Via Blackwall Tunnel to Canary Wharf (Shane hoping you can help on this again and see if there is a chance of us stopping there this time).

End at OMC Wandsworth Road.
Quite a few people left before Canary wharf last time and I’d like to do it again as it’s such a good through road with great views!
If you could let me know either good places of interest to stop at and also those that were on the last rideout any tips on improving this one. I know it was a bit of a shakey start and I’d like to rectify that.
One other thing, anyone willing to offer themselves to take a pillion? My chap would like to come on the next run, I would take him myself but 1) I need to concentrate and 2) he’s a bit heavier than me and I would struggle I’m not as butch as I would like to think. He’s about 12 stone I think (that’s 70 odd kilos for you metric peeps).
Couple of thoughts/ideas:-
Maybe a loop up through Camden.
Soho was a nightmare for traffic and getting split up, going East to West may not be so bad as we’ll hit it later when when it’s maybe quieter. Perhaps take a simpler route. e.g. Oxford Street, then Regents Street, New Bond Street/Saville Row or along to Marble Arch/Mayfair.
Kings Road/Sloane Sq. would be cool. As would down Knightbridge past Harrords, V&A, Natural History Museum.
If we’re starting in Blackheath, we should definitely do a loop through Greenwich centre and past Cutty Sark.
Maybe include a loop around St Katherine’s Docks too.
Definitely do The Mall, Westminster, Downing Street, Trafalgar, Aldwych, St Pauls, again.
Possible improvement;Maybe to do junction by junction detail for the following groups to be able to catch up, So point A to Point B via Right at …, Left at… follow the Mall…etc. and don’t let my mate JJ lead off the lights at Westminster Square!

As of today no paperwork has landed on my door mat, anybody know if there’s a 14 day limit on the issue of Bus Lane Fixed Penalty paperwork?
