MickyWiz down!!

Got taken out on the exit from the A12 Gants Hill roundabout by a builder’s van that came round the oustide and didn’t stop. Not too much damage, bruised right foot and ankle for me, broken left footrest and gear lever on the Banana, plus assorted bodywork scrapes of course. Big up to Robert on his CBR who stopped to help, the guy in the BMW who got the van’s reg number and the staff at Hein Gericke for the free parking and tea and Digestives.Been checked out by paramedics and had the police along to report the van - the number checked out on the PNC so maybe they’ll find him, not holding my breath though.

Also thanks to Hein Gericke armour and Daytona boots for keeping the damage down to bruising - VFRs are heavy when they’re lying on your foot!

Glad to hear you’re relatively ok and people came to your aid, just hope they can track the van down now:D

glad to hear you’re ok.

Came that route this morning. Always loons on that roundabout…come to think of it there are always loons on every roundabout…

Glad to hear you ok-ish and the bike isn’t too badly damaged. Hope they catch the fugger

Glad to hear you’re ok. I too hope they catch the van driver.

Wow sorry about that fella. I hope you get all mended and fixed soon…
So you did not make contact with the van then? Hmm that sucks! I hope you get some welcomed and beneficial outcome!

Certainly did make contact with the van, had the brakes on hard but bounced off the driver’s side, tried to keep upright but went down on the left. Bought R&Gs a couple of weeks back, haven’t got around to fitting them yet!

Better get lookin then :D:P

sorry to hear this mate, hope you heal ok…

White, dirty, loader-type Transit size builder’s van DIG618E. Last seen heading off down A1400 Woodford Avenue!

Glad you are (relatively) OK mate.

Hope the ankle isn’t too bad and you get a result on the van driver.

Just looked on http://www.askmid.com/, maybe this is why they didn’t stop

DIG618E is NOT on the Motor Insurance Database today

Just checked on HPI and there is no vehicle registered with that number plate, sorry.

Im shocked that it was a hit and run. Man that makes me mad!

sorry to hear about this, hope they catch the muppet

Bad luck mate, glad you’re here to tell us about it and not laid up in hospital or anything.

I hope the police have a better result with the van than those polling the net suggest…

Hope your foot gets better soon and glad to see your not worse off. Lesson to all, buy crash bungs, fit immediately!
