Head that Machine Head and Mastodon have been added to the support acts!

Not a big fan of large venues so didnt bother with a ticket, although I love em (have seen them 6 times before tho…!), will be interesting to see what wembley is like, it looked as though it really lacked atmosphere on the tv with Dianas thing, but sure the metalheads can make it better!

Machine head have been added!!! arrrggh, almost worth getting a ticket (and of course to then chuck stuff at HIM…:whistling

My flatmate is going, so I now hate her. Moreso as her ticket was free.

Machine Head are my number 1 band, however I am seeing them in November so will survive until then.

(Though if there’s a spare ticket i’d love you forever)

First saw Metallica at Sheff City Hall in 86, supported by Anthrax. They were very thrashy then, was just a few days before Cliff Burton was killed in coach crash in Sweden, I managed to get on stage (stage diving very unlikely at Wembley) and stand next to Cliff for a few miliseconds before returning to the crowd before security got me!

Ticket was much cheaper than this gig - £50 to see them on sunday, and it’s seated - a poor venue!
