Metal/Aluminium Number Plates?

Anybody have used or have a metal/aluminium number plate on there bike ? If so are they any good and where did you get them.

Since i shortened my cans the plastic plate doesnt take too kindly to the exhaust heat so need to change and was thinking of above mentioned.

If there legal i will have one in a flash! there much better than the orange one

I was thinking of same colour yellow/black if ya can get them. I thought somebody may have some idea but obviously not
