MayDay MayDay!!!

Dear all as you know many many many bikers will go to their individual starting point for this may day bank hols ride. Some from the Ace, Locksbottom and other places. On such a large scale with the expected number of riders safety is in small numbers rather than the expected opposite.

so without further ado…

Myself and the “brethrens of blood & fear” (Steve/Dan/Oudi/Marcus/Mick) shall meet at BoxHill between 08:45 to 09:00 (Jolyon Russ now you should know how to get there by now, and yes its THAT Box Hill not any other) to do the Hastings run same as we did last b/hol as usual our first stop is at Brighton Madeira Drive for coffee and what not, and then off to Hastings on the A259, with intention to meet up with the lost souls at the end of the marina on East Beach Street jsut by the last roundabout where the chipshop with the seagulls that usually like to poo on Dan’s bike. you know the place.

Additional riders wishing to link up with us are more than welcome, as said before expect a few hairy moments when the top gunners let loose and be sure that you are responsible for your own actions and that this ride is not sponsored nor organized by this, that or the other forum.

See you there

Just checked the weather reports, and waterproofs are a must for those who wish to attend. ya’ll been warned

how many people turned out on may day? post us some pics plz capt…

Dan, Steve, Oodie and his gf Nina, Dave and his wife Diane, Jolyon Russ and his mate Steve, me, and just about 20’000 other bikers.

I haven’t got any pics but I’ve got a video being edited which is MASSIVE. I think Jolyon was in charge of the pics.

All I know that by the time we got there after we had lunch we took a walk along the promenade to check out the bikes and people were calling me left right & centre, hey Fran what you doing here? (stooopid question to ask!!!), oi Capt! and all that… it was non stop all day. I think almost every biker I know was there, also spotted a few boxhillers and a couple of them Awol stunts geezers.

It’s a shame you didn’t come and we certainly missed you.

not to worry we’ll see you on the next one (which is last monday of may - bank holiday Ace to Brighton)
