MAC operator looking for work!

hey allas you may have guessed i’m looking for a new job,

i’m a mac operator for a pre-press/litho graphic company, currently looking to change companys.

i dont have qualifications but i have experience, been a MAC op for 6 years, been in the print trade for 11 years.

very competent with and have good knowlege of photoshop,colour work,cut -outs re-touching, extending backgrounds, montageing etc

also quark( not used it for ages but i can learn!) indesign and some illustrator.

i’m posting on here as i know a few of the LB’ers are in the print trade and some are into MAC’s.

hmmm… all these mac’s. tried to explain how mail servers on linux work to one of my mac friends and he didn’t understand a word… not sure if it was my bad english or something but he even didn’t know basics of imap and smtp configuration in email client. he just said mac does all teh crap for him :w00t: just plug and use it:w00t:
I still prefer pc’s, windows 2000 and linux. At lest I know what’s going on :stuck_out_tongue:

I will ask if there is anything porn related atm but on 99% most of us work on pc’s… But still photoshop is same on both and like other software :slight_smile:

I’m looking for work in the Flash/Web Design field at the moment.

I would suggest that you post your CV up on Monster and make sure it is available publicly as many agents search through the CVs there and they will get in contact with you.

Also, if your get the Creative Review magazine, they have somewhat 20 plus agencies in the back listings pages that deal with jobs in the Creative and Design sector.
