Lost front on diesel coming up to rbout near where I live - right behind van so could not let brake off - had choice of hitting van or going down.

tumbled onto nice soft grass:D. SV thou now has:

Broken gear lever. Broken Clutch lever. Broken LHS mirror. Smashed LHS Indicator.

Put bike into second gear with my HAND and rode the 2 miles home. Brought snapped mirror back with me as do not want to leave litter and need new SHAVING MIRROR.

FIT CRASH BUNGS! It was the bung that saved the rad and engine casing.

Just off to Suzuki Spares Direct to pick up replacement parts. Looks like I’ll be spending the weekend in the garage!

Glad your ok mate, bikes can be fixed no matter how badly (might cost a lot), but the human body can not. You probably got a few bruises, and a little bit of shock. But glad to hear you are ok.
