Anyone been to Loomies Cafe in West Meon?
Have not been down that way for a while, and was pleasantly suprised to see that what used to be a little thief is now a nicely run cafe with good food, good prices, popular with Bikers and even has a Wednesday Bike night.
Reckon this will get moved to ride out section BUT yes i’ve been to loomies.
The wednesday nights ain’t a patch on our very own Borough Market though
The thing with Loomies is that its a good ride to get there and i get to go down some nice roads to get there from where i leave from.
yeah agree with you there but when i go to Borough i get to go on the M20 and then the oh so scenic A20 through Lewisham…

Coming home I did one of my favourites, The A339, although not much fun when too many cages about
Loomies is a nice coffee / pee stop on the way to the parents too

thats expensive, rode around beds n bucks yeasterday stopped at the sizzling sausage, on A5 just north milton keynes for a fry up, some bikers there and good roads to and from it plus good value 
thanks for the tip always good to know nice bike stops with actual edible food - by the way, went to a bike meet last Tuesday (think they usually meet 1st Tuesday of the month) witch had a really pretty garden and I understand the food was good (didn’t try it) and the staff was really friendly

So where do your folks live then?
I used to do the A32/A272 route quite a lot when I was still living at the bottom of the A32, there’s some fun stretches of road around there, there’s also the West Meon Hut pub on the opposite side of the junction, plus a garage for fuel stops.
Dependent on the weather and how busy it is the cops do sometimes come out in force however a copper friend, of a friend of mine, who works that patch said that as long as the bikers on the A32/A272 where sensible through the villages they didn’t really have cause to come down heavy on the area, it’s only when the villagers complain about excessive speed that the police are obliged to do anything, so stick to the limits when they’re posted and you shouldn’t have too much trouble.
