Looking to get a service done this weekend? Want a great job doing at a good price??

Anyone need a service this weekend?? Spring is starting to show signs so if you need a Very good but cheap service PM me and i will put you in contact with Rob. Fixed prices or Labour Rates from JUST £30.00 PH. Can collect and return bikes in a van for just £20 within the M25. MOT’s also Available.

ARRRGH. Had you posted this 24 hours ago I would have gone for it. As it was I couldn’t find anywhere in London to do it on the weekend, so I got it done in Southampton where I was working this week. Zero time to do it myself at the moment, and it was already at 4100 miles, so just found the local dealer and got them to squeeze me in.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the guys I took it to did a good job, but they didn’t really listen to me. e.g. I told them “don’t touch the brakes, I’ve just checked them and serviced the callipers myself” when booking it in – when picking it up they went through what they’ve done and one of the things they proudly reported “we took the brakes off and they’re in great condition”. To be fair, when I mentioned it they did take half an hour’s labour charges off the bill (I paid a total of £135 including VAT for a 4k miles service on the GSX650f), but it would have been nicer to have been listened to

Next time I’ll ask on here first

I’ve been quoted more than that for an oil n filter change

hi, where is Rob located

thanks

I will need work on all my bikes, two of them need MOT as well so good and cheap service would be greatly appreciated

Where u based Rixxy???

Those delivery charges are so cheap…that could easily work out to £10 an hour before considering fuel and the stress of crossing London in a van.
Bargain nevertheless (assuming he’s a good mechanic!)

Hes based in North London mill hill area. He’s setting up on his own. He is a X Ducati mechanic and is one of the few Ducati Demosedici Qualified guys in the UK. He has worked on all sports bike and has was at george whites and fourth Dimension in the past but his Duc record kind of speaks for its self.

He loves bikes and at this point is offering a great deal in order to get things off the ground. There is a few Lber’s who use him and have done for a while.

His number is 07912 991 715. Common sense says if you live on the other side of London it may cost a little more, but it will only be the cost of the diesel. Basic service’s he can do at your place of work or home.

I should prob add im just trying to be helpful to fellow Lb’ers, not trying to piss off anyone else on here. Myself, Gaz, Superoli, and Johnny Bravo have used him and so thought we would share our cost saving tip.

he’s a good honest guy, i have met him and watched him work a couple of times, you can trust him.

Good, I just called him and he’s going to do some stuff to mine over the weekend.

I had Rob fix an electrical problem on my Fireblade…he was efficient and went beyond the call of duty to get the bike fixed. He actually came to my house on the Saturday of the jubilee weekend and fixed it whilst there was a street party on my street (So couldn’t park nearby and had to lug his tools up the street)
I am very happy with his work and he is very trustworthy and will use him again.

Just to add I have my bikes serviced by Rob and he’s the only person I trust to do a proper job.

Had him come and overhaul our (several) bikes as none of them felt like they were running right from services elsewhere. Turns out my ‘feeling’ was correct and he found all sorts of issues fromthings like poor reassembly, to snapped exup cables tucked into the fairings.

Personally I like having someone that will do exactly what I ask, and will also go above and beyond to check the bike and catch the genuine issues before they become something more expensive or serious to my health!

Oh and the collection thing is seriously helpful, and he’s far less expensive than his experience should make him

This a whopping great DOH! My bike failed it’s MOT this morning and then I got a flat leaving the test centre all in Mill Hill! I’ts parked up at North London Motorcycles in Edgware now but will give Rob a call when it next needs a service.

Seriously? Between £40-50 for an oil and filter change.

Bearing in mind the filter and the oil cost roughly £25.

Is he in a position to visit in a van and do the job for you?

Probably a question I should be directing to Rixxy really.

Just I have 5 bikes and its a bit of a traipse to drag them around to get them sorted, would be handy to have a guy turn up in a van and do the lot in one sitting.

It depends what you need doing, basic service’s yeah but if its more then maybe not. Hes not trying to be on par with your local dealer, but he can do time consuming and expensive service work MUCH cheaper than anyone else.

A good example of this was the ducati i just bought - He came to my house, stripped it down did everything he could here to get it ready for the belt service took it to a Ducati service centre and got the belts done for around £200 and then he bought it back and did the other part of the service and put it back together.

Aylesbury quoted me £900, it worked out alot less than that!

thank you every body for expressing such an interest in my services, any quotes or questions i am available on the phone 90% of the day
kaos i can certainly take a look at all of your bikes and i have access to a van if needs be
once again many thanks rob

+1 for Rob

Known him for years good guy and great mechanic

That makes sense
I would feel sorry for the guy if he was crossing London for £20.
I am commuting to Surbiton 3 days a week and I absolutely hate it
