The door hasn’t been kicked in, they used a circular saw of some sort.
That in itself is more worrying as it means it was pre-planned and not an opportunist.

The door was kicked in. The police forensic guy confirmed it with kick marks and sole prints. It’s not a clean break, you can’t see from the photo.

sorry to hear about your bad luck lately 
but that door was never up to the job keeping the scum out. i’m a carpenter of 11 years & IMHO you’ll always need a solid door & 5 leaver mortice lock, hinge bolts are a good idear to.
also sometimes people think it a good idear to fit two mortice locks on the bottom of the door but you can actually weaken the doors strength if you keep the two locks close together. looks like you got a steel bar fitted to to the lock side of the frame already? they help the strength of the frame under attack.
