Whilst I fully approve of turfing out the global warming idiots for peddling their nonsense, this is taking “child protection” a bit far. Why not ban adults from any public place and just hand the whole lot over to the kids ? I bet pubs would make terrific play areas, plenty of room for scalextric and trains or some cracking big dolls houses :pinch:

Having read the article, the council do say that they would only expect employees to ask lone adults who were hanging around childrens play areas and the like what they were up to.
I don’t see the problem with that - I’d be suspicious if I was in the park with the kids and some bloke was stood by the playground on his own for more than a couple of minutes.
Crazy :crazy:, we’re the only country in Europe with this media driven paedophile around every corner mentality. If it’s a public place then they’ve no right to ask why you’re there… and bloody well sod off.
It’s the parents responsibilty to educate, watch over and ensure the safety of their children not the council.
