I have a mate who wants to learn how to ride a bike and, eventually, pass whatever test is in force at the time for his age and bike-size. (they don’t make it easy for new riders do they!!). He lives near the Oval, any suggestions for decent instructors in that neck of the woods?
hello mate, ive just got the mod 2 test to go (the road ride) and i did my training with SMT in sutton who have been brilliant. near Oval id probably say Metropolis in Vauxhall, they do it all down there and have a pretty good rep. good luck to your friend
Motag in Crystal Palace. They were very good. Mind you I did training with them in 2004, so not sure what they are like now and whether they are still as great as they were. Worth a try though - I’d recommend them based on my past experience.
I passed with Advantage Wimbledon http://www.advantagewimbledon.co.uk/ - had them recommended by a number of people - Metropolis at Vauxhall is much closer to me, but a number of people have told me about awful experiences with them, which is why I travelled a bit. Really glad I did they were awesome and not very expensive.
if you can get to Wembley then ‘Mr Robs Motorcycle Training’ is great, the chap (oddly named Rob!) is a true gentleman and very experienced in training.
