LB forum pictures

Was just looking at the piccys on the forum and I noticed that many of 'em have an almost high end 3D generated look.

As I design using Maya 3D software, I found the images really striking and was wondering what plugin (Photoshop I presume) is used to achieve it on the digital snaps.

Cheers

Jay or Andrew are the men to answer all ya piccy techie sheet…

They do the bulk of all those top shots you see!

Don’t forget Silver, Barro, he’s a wonder-maker as well!

Afro, do you mean the photos in our galleries? Or something else within the forums? I’m a little lost otherwise. Got an example?

Sorry if I have left someone out…who,s Silver ??

Silver’s one half of our Dynamic Duo photographers!

Here’s an example

Look at the overall lighting of the image. There’s been some kind of image filter applied to the original iamge to make it look like a 3D raytraced (CGI) image where a computer calculates lighting within a scene.

I’m not sure if I like it TBH, but it certainly makes an impression…Think I would prefer natural shots though.

Hey fella. I took that photo. No effects have been applied, besides a slight correction of the white-balance. Apart from that, it’s as it came off the camera. It has a unique look to it as it was taken with a 30 second exposure, as so to capture all the available light present.

And here’s me thinking you pointed the camera and pressed the button…

Cap being doffed to you Jay as I type

He’s right you know…that’s just as is. You can get some amazing stuff with night time London ambient light…
