We launched the LB Directory a few weeks ago and since finishing building it, we’ve had time to sit back and think about the structure of it, and we realised it wasn’t laid out as well as it could be, things weren’t grouped together as you would expect, and there wasn’t enough diversity to properly categorise everything that appeals to all bikers (which we represent as a community).
We’ve just finished sorting the category structure out so things should be more logical and easier to use. We’ve also not really promoted the service yet, as we are waiting for a few things to click into place before we start shouting at world and setting up a big flashing neon light telling them we’re here and that they should come join our wonderful community, if they’re of the right stuff (helpful, witty, funny, pitiful, etc).
We’d love it if you guys (and gals) could help us by letting us know what you think of the Directory, and if you could help to build it by finding things not listed and submitting them. With your help, we can make this the easiest place to find anything to do with biking in the UK, something that no one single setup has done before, made the perfect online biking resource.
i think the lb-side is very good structured and the diretory is easy to understand. i always found everything i wanted via the search button and i think the directory is a good instrument to overview the side. keep up the good work jay, cezar, foxy and andrew (i hope i named everyone - if not sorry).
I have already been providing an ex gratia / pro bono advise service for any one with motor insurance claims difficulties and will continue to do so any one can contact me for advise if ya PM me.
Should any one have any sort of claim where they are encountering diificulty either getting it settled and or money from thier own insurers we should be able to help, or in the very least provide you with advise.
For personal loss claims we operate two schemes at my work an LE membership scheme where you prepay for a years cover for us to do any recoveries, or an after event service where we charge on what we recover for you. I am at present attempting to negotiate a deal for LB members.
