Was supposed to rain at some point today, but now it’s saying it will be dry all day and as I look out at the sky now, I really want to go for a bike ride and so thought I would see if anyone fancies coming with me! Worth a try - even with the late notice! Best suited to those on the west side of London as the meet point will be Reading Services between junction 11 and 12 of the M4 WESTBOUND (there is one on the other side too!). Plan to leave as soon after 10.30am as possible, but if I get any confirmed interest I can delay the start time. Will be a lovely, leisurely bimble around Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire. Let me know ASAP, if you plan on joining me.

Many thanks to Mr B for getting a wriggle on at such short notice and for coming along on my meander around Berkshire, Oxon, Wilts, Hants. Beautiful, dry, mainly sunny weather up to Bibury, where we had lunch, followed by intermittent sogginess on the way back, but please to note that Mr B didn’t ask me to cop out and come back via Joby’s favourite road, instead we braved the elements on the B4000’s and the A339 on the way home. Now to thaw and dry out!

Glad to see you’re mended, was out with Luis and a few others from LMTC. Early mist gave way to sunshine on our way to the south coast. Even made it home before the hurricane.

Nice one Ally really enjoyed the ride today … was a great circuit that, we did some really good roads there and in almost spring like weather, well, till after lunch anyway
